Emberdew Temple

Emberdew Temple is a cooperative puzzle-platformer for two spirits and one very old temple. Cinder is a living flame and Rill is a drop of dew. Each can wade through the pools of their own element, but the opposite pool is deadly, and the green blight that seeps through the ruins is deadly to both. To finish a level, both spirits must stand in their own doorways at the same time. Along the way you will step on glowing plates that hold gates open only while someone is standing on them, throw levers that stay switched on, push heavy crates, ride sliding stone lifts and, in the final chapter, turn mirrors to bend a beam of light onto crystal sensors. Collect the gems that match each spirit's colour for extra stars and gold, and beat the par time for the third star. Forty hand-built levels across four chapters teach one idea at a time and then mix them together. Play with a friend on one keyboard, or play alone and tap the swap button to switch between the two spirits; the one you are not steering waits patiently where it stands. On a phone you get a large d-pad, a jump button and the swap button. Stuck? Watch a rewarded ad to see two glowing ghosts walk through the solution, or double your gold after a level. Every level has been solved by an automated search, so each puzzle is guaranteed to be possible.
