Haunted Panic

Haunted Panic is a spooky Halloween shooting game where you protect twelve haunted doors. Monsters try to break through, and you stop them by tapping or clicking before they strike. Not every creature is an enemy, though: friendly ghosts must be spared, and if you leave one untouched for two seconds it protects its door. You can also hammer bonus chests, tapping a chest five times for extra gold.

The game takes you through six Halloween worlds across 24 nights, and you will eventually face the Night Lords. Use the Pumpkin Blast to hit enemies in one go while sparing the ghosts, and use the arrows to visit all three pages, since the twelve doors are spread across them and need watching at the same time. Earn stars, unlock relics and improve your Arcade powers as you progress. If you prefer a purer challenge, try Classic mode, where you only have one life.

Controls are simple: tap or click monsters to zap them, and leave friendly ghosts alone so they can defend their doors. That simplicity makes it quick to learn, yet the need to watch many doors at once keeps the pressure high. The game is built for portrait screens, so it feels natural on a phone, but it also runs in desktop browsers with a mouse, with no download required.
