DarkHood

DarkHood is a cosy dark platform adventure built for short, relaxing sessions at home or on the go. Step into a world where the only light is your own aura, and guide a brave boy in a dark hoodie through candle-lit caves, past sleeping monsters and into hidden passages. The glow around you is what lets you see the way forward, which gives the whole game a calm, atmospheric feel.

Your goal in each level is to collect every glowing gem and then unlock the exit gate. Along the way you must avoid bombs, pits and traps, so careful timing and well-judged jumps matter more than speed. Because the monsters are sleeping, the game rewards patient, thoughtful movement rather than frantic button mashing, and you can take each level at your own pace. Hidden passages give curious players a reason to explore every corner of the cave.

On desktop, use the arrow keys or A and D to move, and press Space, W or the Up arrow to jump. On mobile, on-screen touch buttons let you run, jump and interact. DarkHood combines arcade-style platforming with a gentle, hyper-casual pace, which makes it easy to pick up for a few minutes between other things. It runs in your browser on both desktop and mobile devices, with nothing to install before you start collecting gems.
